Charingworth Manor

在訂這家酒店時，就發現評論區沒有任何點評，看了酒店介紹覺得這家鄉村酒店應該還可以吧。結果大失所望。友友們千萬不要再訂這家酒店了，不但房間又黴又潮，空間也矮，一不注意就會碰頭。並且酒店極為不誠信。 7月21日下午我們到達酒店，接待人員帶我們先去看房間，房間在二樓，我和孩子抱着期待的心情，一推開門，就聞到很大一股又黴又潮濕的味道，服務員立馬打了窗户，光線也不好。當時我就與服務員交涉能不能換個房間。服務員帶我們去看了一間標間，也又黴味。所以我們決定與酒店協商衹住今天一晚，明天就不住了。當時在我們吃晚餐時，酒店經理主動與我們當面溝通，確認可以把22日的房費退給我們（詳見翻譯機的圖片）。。 21日晚上衹有將就住進了這間又黴又潮的房間，房間是斜頂，床的兩邊就是斜頂，稍不注意站直就會碰頭。最可氣的是衞生間沒有淋浴房，衹能站在浴缸裏洗澡，人還不能站直，因為頭的位置就是房頂。一抬頭就碰頭。真是第一次遇到2000多房費的房間會這麼奇葩。 21日晚上我就在攜程平台點了提前退房的申請，第二天我們吃了早餐就退房離開了。一直到晚上6點酒店都沒有在平台上回復，攜程工作人員給我打過2次電話告知他們還未聯繫上酒店，讓我再多等一下。稍晚點攜程又來電，説代理商已與酒店聯繫上了，回覆酒店説昨天與我溝通的人不是他們經理，22日房費他們不退。 我暈，他們前台叫來的經理與我們溝通的，那裡除了酒店的工作人員就衹有幾個的客人了，難道還有人冒充酒店經理嗎？昨天答應的好好的，今天就變了，真是出爾反爾！太不誠信了！早知道我把他們經理錄下來。還好我英語不太流暢，交流時用了翻譯機，有截圖。要不然真説不清楚了。 22號晚上攜程工作人員一直在與我溝通，説明天由他們主管出面解決此事。第二天也就是今天9點多，攜程回覆先由他們將房費先退給我，他們後續再與酒店和代理商商量協調此事。 整個事情總結:酒店不誠信，酒店沒有提前告知房間有什麼缺陷，實際的房間與價格完全不匹配。攜程工作人員負責有擔當，值得信賴。

Recently refurbished stately home venue in the countryside. Lovely welcome from front of house staff and first class service in the dining room. We had a voucher from one of our friends so booked the afternoon tea. Great choice as it was amazing, glass tea infuser with lovely fresh tea that they top up. Accompanied by a towering three tiers of homemade sweet and savoury treats, freshly prepared by the chef. We had to take the top tier home in a cake box, will definitely visit again!

Myself, partner and dog stayed at Charingworth manor with dinner bed and breakfast. We would recommend this place to anyone. Our room was beautiful and was right next to a small courtyard which was great for the dog. We were welcomed with some dog bowls and treats which I thought was a lovely. The whole manor is beautiful, perfectly decorated and the surrounding grounds are stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks. The staff were so attentive, friendly and welcoming. Our favourite part of all it was the food. It was simply incredible, we could not fault it at all. I will be dreaming of the white chocolate and raspberry, pistachio cream profiteroles for a long time. We hope to come back here one day. Thank you for a lovely stay

Just returned from a nights stay at the Charingworth Manor Hotel and we really enjoyed our time there. We arrived at this beautiful hotel to a very pleasant welcome, slight negative was the pool was out of use due to an issue with the pump. We were shown our room which was very large and welcoming. We had decided to get a taxi into Chipping Camden as we had read the reviews regarding the food and was apprehensive regarding the portion sizes, my husband has a healthy appetite. We were quoted by the taxi companies £20 to £25 for the 2.6 mile journey and told we would have to also had pre book our return journey in advance, and that would be another £25!!!!! We decided to stay where we were and risk the restaurant, so glad we did. The flat bread and humus was amazing! We had chosen the smoked salmon salad and I had the brie and apple tart, wow they were both gorgeous. We had also ordered the charred tender stem broccoli and the crispy crushed potatoes as a side, as we thought they would fill out the meal, but they were really not required. We enjoyed a lovely walk in the grounds and all we could hear was the birds and the sheep. Following a good night's sleep we went down to breakfast and the staff were very friendly and joined in on my husbands quest to dicover, should beans be served on the breakfast plate or in a ramikin!!! It was a stunning breakfast, well worth it and very enjoyable. The staff made the stay a joy, friendly, professional and smiling. The views stunning and the food delicious. Thank you.

Stunning Cotswolds Inn with food so good we ate in every night. The staff were fun and incredibly accommodating. Barbie was a hoot. Cozy lounges, outstanding made-to-order breakfast, and a quiet room. Just minutes from great pubs, hiking and local flavor. We loved it.

I have been to Charingworth about 10 times - reason being is that we loved - mainly the service was impeccable, the rooms were delightful and the food was fine dining but out of this world. I saw that they were sold and taken over and a refurb was happening. I was worried but gave it a go for my 50th Birthday celebration. Positives - speed bumps removed, reception refurbed , rooms and bar refurbed - all brilliant. Negative - swimming pool freezing, menu was poor - i struggled to find anything i wanted, service was poor. We were attempted to be sat by a baby then further up the room a large table with small childen screaming and running around. So we sat in the middle. We ordered food, starter was delicious, we ordered Steak as nothing else was even remotely interesting.... no one did a table check to see if our steaks were cooked well, the steak wasn't good - extreme amount of fat even for a rib-eye. Dessert - was lovely. Still non-one did a table check until were were asked if we wanted coffee. The bar ran out of bottled lager. I dont drink wine. For a weekend evening - this was appalling. you should have plenty of stock of bottle beer. The main reason staying at this hotel is that it seemed very exclusive even for non-rich folk, and the service and food was imppecable. After my visit this Friday 16th August (my birthday), none was any good. it was average. I appreciate that you cannot stop children coming - but I always enjoyed amazing customer service and food. It was like you increased your prices, brought the food and service down below average AND encouraged children to come to what should be an adult only hotel. I cant say it ruined my birthday as the room was lovely but the whole experience was a complete let down.

Wow, beautiful manor House with lovely views. Room was clean with tea, coffee and biscuits. Pool was clean and a good size. Lots of choice for breakfast, which was delicious. Location is good with main routes leading to other villages. Really enjoyed my stay and definitely coming back in September

We had a lovely one night stay in Charingworth Manor. The building is lovely, all the main areas in the house look like they have been recently refurbished to a very good standard. The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds, with a lovely nearby village. The pub is worth making the effort to visit. Everyone we met who works there was very friendly & helpful, from the reception to the restaurant. A special mention to the lady who served us at breakfast. The standard of food served in the restaurant is excellent, dinner was exceptional & the breakfast was equally as good. Again, the staff excelled with nothing being too much trouble. The only slight complaint was the furniture in our room was out of keeping with an old Manor House. I guess it’s due to be refurbished soon. The hotel has its own pool, which is worth seeking out. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Looking for a hotel in the Cotswolds as a base for a nearby wedding, my wife and I were fortunate to find this delightful hotel located a few miles from Moreton in Marsh. Much of the building is several hundred years old with beautiful lounges, plus additional sympathetic extensions for the restaurant and bar. The hotel is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, leading down to a seating area overlooking for miles a view of the Cotswolds. We stayed in Room 8, which is in the eves of the building, but is large and comfortable with all the facilities that would be expected from a hotel of this standard. We dined and had breakfast in the restaurant, overlooking the garden, where an excellent choice of dishes and wines were on offer. The food was of a high standard and well-presented and I would definitely recommend the lamb rump. Above all, the most significant asset of the hotel is the staff. All who we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful, from arrival at reception and especially in the bar and restaurant. We regretted our brief visit and will definitely be returning for a longer stay and the opportunity to explore further this beautiful part of the country.
